Sensei Ryan Gummerman
Chief Instructor Sensei Ryan has been studying the martial arts for 20 years. He has trained in Shaolin Kempo, Wing Chun, Greco-Roman Wrestling, Jiu Jitsu, Kali, Silat, & Muay Thai, and currently holds a 3rd Degree Black Belt with USSD. In addition to the mentioned fighting styles, Ryan has also trained & taught extensively in South East Asian weaponry. Ryan has repeatedly competed in the United Studios International Martial Arts competition, and has regularly swept the Instructor’s Division taking home 1st place honors in the Kata and Weapons Divisions. In his free time Ryan enjoys reading books on Martial Art Philosophy and working out.
Sensei Jessica began her training in Shaolin Kempo when she was 8 years old . Jessica did take a small break in her Martial Arts career due to Military Relocations for her family. Jessica Graduated High School with a 4.24 G.P.A. Her G.P.A. coupled with her many extracurricular accomplishments garnered her multiple college scholarships. Jessica currently manages her time between her college requirements, her Studio Manager responsibilities, and being a full-time Mom. Jessica has a 5 year old daughter with whom she currently shares her Martial Arts passion with and thus understands a parent’s point of view in a child’s character development. She has been a Champion competitor in Women’s Brown/Black Belt Division in our International Competitions. Jessica Received the Honor of Grand Achievement 1st Degree Black Belt at the Shaolin Temple in China in 2018.
Sensei Gabriel has been studying in Martial Arts for 12 years. He has trained in Shaolin Kempo since he was 4 years old. Gabriel tested for his First Degree Black Belt on November 8, 2014. Gabriel is also one of our Champion competitors that participates in our United Studios International Martial Arts Tournament. Gabriel is an Honor student who currently holds a 4.6 G.P.A. Along with this impressive grade point average he has received awards such as President’s List and Excellent Performance in Mathematics. Gabriel’s Hobbies in his spare time are Powerlifting and Drawing. Gabriel is fluent in both English and Russian.
Sensei Tyler has been studying in Martial arts for 11 years, he first began training in Shaolin Kempo when he was 6 years old. Tyler was promoted to the Grand Achievement of First Degree Black Belt on December 15, 2015. Tyler is an Honor student who currently holds a 4.1 G.P.A. Everyday Tyler strives to be the best Role Model and Mentor to every student. Tyler’s strong work ethic and dedication to Martial Arts has made him excel as an instructor and person with great character. Sensei Tyler is also one of our Champion competitors in the United Studios International Martial Arts Tournament.
