WHAT KIND OF CLASSES DO YOU OFFER
We have Personal Development Classes for kids 6-12, and separate classes for adults 13 & up. We encourage you to try to attend 2-3 of these classes a week. In these 1-hour group classes, we work on developing fitness, improving martial arts basics, and reviewing and honing your self-defense techniques.
In addition to the Personal Development Classes, students also attend Specialized Training Sessions… also referred to as Tutorial Sessions. In these sessions, the instructor specifically works on the student’s trouble spots, and provides direction in the student’s training in order to reach his or her’s next belt.
Specialized Training Sessions are a half hour in length, and are scheduled with the instructor. Students have between 2 & 4 specialized training sessions a month depending on the program they enroll in.
Personal Development Classes (PDC’s) are classes that are comprised of 15-30 students. Each PDC focus on our 3 categories of training:
– Fitness – Includes Cardio, Strength Training, Flexibility Development, and Agility Training.
– Skills Training – Focuses on development of kicks, punches, blocks, footwork… As well as teamwork and leadership training.
– Self-Defense Training – Repetition of taught self-defense techniques on various partners for increased competency.
Our Personal Development Classes are very popular, because nowhere else can anyone find a class that benefits the student in so many ways!
WHAT ARE SPECIALIZED TRAINING SESSIONS
Specialized Training Sessions (STS) are the cornerstone to our program! These sessions allow our instructors to work with the student in a more individually tailored fashion!
In these training sessions, the instructor creates and follows lesson plans that are uniquely designed for each individual student! These lesson plans are custom designed to train each student in the fitness, skills, and self-defense categories in the most efficient way possible!
Homework is assigned during these Training Sessions, so that the student can improve at a consistent rate. The Specialized Training Sessions are also the place where the instructor can focus on problem areas the student may be having!
HOW MUCH DOES YOUR PROGRAM COST?
Before enrolling with our studio, everyone goes through a 2 week evaluation program that costs $49. This program includes 2 Private Evaluation Lessons, 2 Weeks of Personal Development Classes and a Studio T-Shirt. Since our programs are an investment into our students we want to make sure you will benefit from our program before continuing membership.
Our programs start at $205 every 4 Weeks. Our most popular program is $250.
IS THERE ANY TYPE OF CONTRACT?
This is completely up to you. We do offer sign-up incentives (free uniform, free training workbook, etc.) to people who do opt for a 12-month commitment, but it is certainly not a requirement.
However, we do take our program and the results that we expect to achieve with you very seriously. Long-Lasting, Meaningful results simply cannot be achieved on a short-term basis.
We encourage you to take the time and navigate through our website, and determine if what we try to accomplish with our program is compatible to your goals for you and your family. If you like our program, we strongly encourage that you commit to completing at least The Beginner Training Program. That will give us the time to show you the results we expect to achieve.
WHAT IS YOUR MARTIAL ART AND HOW IS IT DIFFERENT FROM OTHER
The primary art that we teach is Shaolin Kempo. This art can trace some of its origins back to China & Japan. Kempo was further developed in Hawaii & finally here in Mainland USA. Kempo is a purely self-defense art.
At our studio, we have managed to intertwine many of the necessary life skills into our self-defense training thus providing a TRULY UNIQUE EXPERIENCE FOR ALL STUDENTS.
In fact, over 80% of our student base is enrolled specifically to develop and train in our innovative Life Skills Training Program!
HOW DO I KNOW IF A STUDIO IS RIGHT FOR ME AND/OR MY KIDS
Choosing a Martial Arts Studio can be a very difficult process. It is hard to determine if the studio you walk into can help you achieve your goals.
When looking for a program, we find the most important factor should be the rapport between the instructor and you and / or your children.
Since we treat Martial Arts Training as an investment, it is so important that you find someone who can be a mentor for your children, and a source of inspiration for you.

HOW YOUNG DO YOU TAKE KIDS
Our various training programs are optimally designed for adults and children ages 6 years and older.
Because there is a wide age range for child development, we also may accept 5 year olds into our program.
With our 2 week evaluation period, we can determine whether a 5 year old will benefit from our program.
We also do accept children as young as 3 years old into our PRE-TRAINING program. Our Pre-Training program helps develop fine motor skills as well as provides general training in character development.
These lessons are done on a private one-on-one basis.
WILL THIS BENEFIT ME AND/ OR MY KIDS
There are not many programs out there that can simultaneously train & develop a student – PHYSICALLY, MENTALLY, & EMOTIONALLY!

WHAT KIND OF COMMITMENT WILL BE REQUIRED
In order to get the most out of our program, we recommend that you be able to attend on average 1-2 Personal Development Classes per week, as well as meet with your instructor for Specialized Training Sessions at least 2 times a month.
Like anything else, the more you put into training — the more you will get out of it.
Training will never be more than a few hours a week, but if you can give us those few hours, WE PROMISE YOU AMAZING BENEFITS!
